2000 Carver 406 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht

New vinyl planked wood flooring was installed in 2017 through interior cabin.

This vessel features a great two stateroom layout with a very large open galley and salon area. The master stateroom located in the aft has a walk around island bed, tons of storage and a private head with separate stall shower. A couple of steps up brings you into the salon area. Large wrap around windows and light maple woodwork make this area appear very spacious. There is a Flexsteel L shaped settee with two built in recliners along the aft and port sides. There's adjacent storage cabinets aft. Across to starboard is the Custom TV "see below", barrel chair, electric fireplace and storage cabinets. Two steps down to the galley area which is open to the salon. The galley itself is on the starboard side and the dinette that converts to sleep two is on the port side. Moving forward brings you into the forward guest stateroom. There is a large double bed offset on the starboard side. The forward head with integrated shower can be accessed from the forward stateroom or directly from the companionway.

The aft deck on the 406 covers more that 100 square feet and is one of the largest in this size boat. It's protected from the elements with a hardtop and full Eisenglass side enclosures with screens. Solid doors on either side give access to the wide side decks. There is a wet bar with ice maker, sink and loads of storage. The upper helm area is just a few of steps up. Again it is fully enclosed and has a wide open layout. There is a double wide helm bench and seating forward of the helm station.

• Prior owner had the original 7.4L engines changed out in 2003 & Upgraded to 2003 Volvo 8.1L (496) MPI's engines. The starboard engine has only 570 hours and the port engine only has 20 hours since a new long block was installed in March 2019. Mechanics error while servicing the port engine caused damage and rather than just rebuilding the engine, the owner insisted the mechanic's insurance company install a new long block instead.
