2002 Wellcraft 290 Coastal
The Wellcraft 290 Coastal has been a popular boat for many years. She is a versatile offshore express, whose wide 10'5" beam allows for a large cockpit and very spacious cabin accommodations. Dual purpose boats like this have long been popular with active families who like to mix fishing with entertaining and cruising. Built on a solid fiberglass hull, the wide-open interior of the 290 Coastal sleeps (6) and features a convertible dinette/V-berth forward, a galley to port, roomy head/shower compartment to starboard, and a mid-cabin lounge that converts to sleep (2). (The V-berth backrests swing up to form (2) pilot berths). In the cockpit, a stand-up 42-gallon live-well is aft of the helm seat and a pair of insulated fish boxes are located just just forward of the transom. Additional features include a transom door and a bait prep center with a sink, fresh/raw-water wash-downs, cockpit bolsters, trim tabs, dive ladder, cockpit rod storage, molded bow pulpit, and a walk-through windshield.
This 290 Coastal has a recently installed aluminum half-tower and recent Garmin Electronics. She was re-powered with 2008 with Yamaha 300hp Four Stroke outboard engines with very low hours!

The Wellcraft 290 Coastal provides exceptional cruiser-style cabin amenities with all the requirements needed for serious weekend fishing. The comfortable helm has easy-to-read gauges, seats two with an adjustable operator seat, and has beverage holders close at hand. Anglers will appreciate the well-equipped transom with plenty of room for hauling in fish and an ample-sized fish locker for storage. The bait prep area is easily accessible and even easier to clean. On the starboard, there's a large, lighted live-well with a viewing window that can easily be reached by everyone on board. The large forward cabin has twin pilot berths and a dinette that converts to a double berth in seconds. The mid-cabin comfortably sleeps two.
She has very spacious cabin accommodations that will sleep (6). There is convertible dinette/V-berth with dinette table forward that converts to sleep (2), The V-berth backrests swing up to form (2) single pilot berths and a mid-cabin lounge that converts to a double berth that sleeps (2).
