2001 Prima 52' Seahorse - Pilot House Fast Trawler

Her interior offers a very spacious and functional layout for both everyday living and for entertaining guests. There are (3) staterooms and (2) heads, both with separate showers stalls, as well as a third head aft of the large salon that makes the perfect location for use as a "day head", as it's convenient to both the flybridge and aft deck.

The covered weather decks and hard tops, both aft and above the flybridge, create additional usable living space, regardless of the weather conditions and makes line handling & anchoring a breeze. With her wide covered side-decks and over-sized stainless steel stainless steel hand & bow rails, moving around outside and going from the cockpit to the bow is done both easily and safely. The cockpit has (3) bulkhead doors for easy boarding from either port or starboard, as well as easy access to the swim platform.  The cockpit also has a hatch with steps leading to the lazarette and engine room. Instead of the usual flybridge ladder, she features a curved molded fiberglass staircase leading from the cockpit to the flybridge.  The flybridge is huge and is climate controlled, which provides plenty of room for comfortable lounging or entertaining guest.

Salon

Entering the salon through the sliding cockpit door, to port is a large L-shaped settee with a high-low coffee table. Continuing forward to port is the fully equipped galley with granite countertops followed by a dinette/settee with seating for six. Opposite the galley is a hatch and steps leading to a large storage area. This area also houses the raw water pumps for the air-conditioning units and the central vacuum system. Conveniently located on the aft starboard side of salon is the day head with a sink and fresh water flush electric head. Forward of the head to starboard is an entertainment center, including a Fusion sound system with speakers Bose throughout the salon, a television, DVD player and storage. Continuing forward, there is a desk/nav station and a complete lower helm with a pilot house door. The entire salon is decorated in teak and inlaid exotic wood.

Staterooms

Forward of the salon are steps leading to the three staterooms and two full heads. To port is the VIP guest stateroom with full bed, closet, lockers and an adjoining door to the guest head, which also has a second, hall entrance to service the second guest cabin. The guest head is spacious with a stand-up, enclosed shower, sink with double mirror storage above and fresh water flush electric toilet. To starboard is the second guest cabin with twin beds, cedar closet and lockers. Forward and on centerline is the master stateroom with walk around queen bed and private head and shower. The master also has an opening skylight hatch and two large cedar-lined closets.

New Updated Salon Audio - Installed New Fusion Stereo Amp & Remote to the Flybridge Fusion Stereo in May 2023 at the cost of $3.2k). Conversation was done to run the Bose Speakers through the Fusion Audio Head unit. Configured Salon to play music from the flybridge Fusion Head Unit and configure stereo to play TV audio on aux input. 

The bridge is easily and safely accessed from the cockpit up a curved molded fiberglass staircase with stainless steel railings. The flybridge is huge and features a table and seating for 10-12 people. It is covered by a hardtop and fully enclosed with a "New" Custom Strataglass .40 Gauge - Full Flybridge Enclosure with U-Zips and Rollup Door (New 2024 at the cost of $12.8k)

when the weather is pleasant or close it up and turn on the air conditioner or heater for total comfort.

There are two captain’s chairs forward with helm instrumentation including autopilot, bow thruster, engine synchronizer and anchor controls. Wide open, 360 degree views make piloting and docking a pleasure.

Additional features include a refrigerator/ice maker, stereo and aft deck. Aft on the flybridge is a cradle for dinghy storage and a Quick-Lift hydraulic davit for launching and lifting the dinghy. The dinghy is an AB 9 vs inflatable with hard floor and a BF-10 Honda outboard.

Cockpit

The aft cockpit has three bulkhead doors for easy boarding and access to the swim platform, room for four deck chairs and a small dock box with cushion for additional seating. It has a hatch with steps down to the lazarette and engine room and a circular molded fiberglass staircase with "new" SeaDeck (2022) on the steps, up to the flybridge.

Bow

Going from the cockpit to bow is safe in all conditions due to wide-covered walkways with solid sides and rails. At the bow, over-sized, stainless-steel railings ensure safety. The engine room is ventilated naturally and with blowers. It has a walkway down the centerline with engines to port and starboard. It can be accessed from the cockpit through the lazarette or by opening the large hatches in the salon.
